Explosion at Pacoima home, possibly ignited by fireworks, injures man
An approximately 40-year-old man suffered critical burns Thursday in an explosion possibly ignited by fireworks at a home in Pacoima, where four dogs were found.
Firefighters were dispatched about 9 a.m. to the 13500 block of Remington Street, where they reported a partial collapse of the structure, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Four dogs were located and safe, including one that was on a leash.
Officials were at the scene to address the structural integrity of the home prior to allowing firefighters to enter the residence.
