Dodgers Parade: Vendors see Dodgers merch fly off the shelves amid LA celebration

It was a Dodger Blue bonanza for merchandize vendors on Friday, Nov. 1.

Among the sea of people celebrating the Dodgers World Series title, there were the T-shirts and jerseys, the banners, the beads, flags, the pennants, caps, sombreros, Dodgers-themed Hello Kitty items… That’s right.

The giant celebration was also a chance for revelers to pick up their beloved Dodger Blue toys, whether it was on the celebratory parade route or at Dodger Stadium.

A vendor named Reggie was busy selling $10 beads.

He said if customers walked away from him, he’d be open to haggling a bit.

T-shirts were his biggest seller – the ones proclaiming the Dodgers championship.

“I’m almost out of every size,” he said.

Vendors were already happily planning for the next championship, and L.A. teams’ winning ways.

“We got the Super Bowl, we got the Lakers. This one right here is fun,” Reggie said.
