This week’s Daily News high school football rankings.

DAILY NEWS FOOTBALL TOP 10

1. Sierra Canyon (4-3 overall, 2-0 Mission League)

The Trailblazers used a balanced offense last week that produced 223 rushing yards and 161 passing yards and beat Notre Dame 50-17. Dane Dunn was the leading rusher with 51 yards and a touchdown. Jae’on Young and De’Markus each hauled in a touchdown pass. Young and Havon Finney each had two interceptions and Richard Wesley had two sacks, a QB hurry and two tackles for loss. Ronen Zamorano was the leading tackler with eight total tackles.

2. Oaks Christian (5-2 overall, 2-0 Marmonte League)

Running back Deshonne Redeaux scored twice as the Lions shut out Bishop Diego 13-0 last week. Stevie Amar finished with 78 receiving yards and linebacker Christian Knoos had his second interception of the season and led the team in tackles with 12. Jamey Smith had three pass breakups.

Next: vs. St. Bonaventure, Friday, 7 p.m.

3. Newbury Park (7-0 overall, 2-0 Conejo Coast League)

Brady Smigiel accounted for five touchdowns — four passing and one rushing — and threw for 263 yards in a 48-20 win over Calabasas. Shane Rosenthal had two touchdown receptions and Beau Smigiel and Korbin Thomas had one touchdown catch apiece. Kayin Booker had eight total tackles, two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

Next: vs. Westlake, Friday, 7 p.m.

4. Simi Valley (7-0 overall, 2-0 Marmonte League)

Tagg Harrison threw for 313 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 34 yards and two touchdowns as the Pioneers beat Camarillo 56-7. Bryce Hawkins had two rushing touchdowns and two touchdown receptions. Izak Simpson had seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks.

Next: vs. Bishop Diego, Friday, 7 p.m.

5. Chaminade (1-6 overall, 0-2 Mission League)

A challenging Mission League schedule continues for the Eagles, who lost to Gardena Serra 33-21. Devin Olmande hauled in two touchdown passes from Cameron Pooley, who threw for 220 yards. Ronnell Hewitt led Chaminade with 16 tackles, caused a fumble and also scored a rushing touchdown.

Next: at Loyola, Friday, 7 p.m.

6. Thousand Oaks (5-2 overall, 2-0 Conejo Coast League)

The Lancers are on a two-game win streak after beating Westlake 41-14. Jackson Taylor ended the game with 264 passing yards and Justin Lewis was the leading rusher with 135 yards. Zach Reed had three receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Cory McEnroe recorded three sacks and seven QB hurries while Jameson Born had two tackles for loss and one sack.

Next: vs. Rio Mesa, Friday, 7 p.m.

7. Notre Dame (4-3 overall, 1-1 Mission League)

Sierra Canyon handed the Knights their first Mission League loss of the season. Quarterback Steele Pizzella still managed to get 219 yards through the air with two touchdowns and 72 yards on the ground. Luc Weaver led in receiving yards with 119 and scored one touchdown. Ehimen Oyamendan led the defense with six tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack.

8. Valencia (3-4 overall, 3-0 Foothill League)

The Vikings beat Golden Valley 56-28 to remain unbeaten in league play. Brady Bretthauer completed 16 of 21 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns and Brian Bonner ran for 83 yards and four touchdowns. Nick Seymour logged six receptions for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Xander Hohler finished the game with four tackles for loss and three sacks.

Next: vs. Hart at College of the Canyons, Friday, 7 p.m.

9. Hart (7-1 overall, 4-0 Foothill League)

Senior Nate Mata took over at quarterback against Canyon and went 11-for-15 passing for 144 yards and two touchdowns to help secure the win. Zach Rogozik had 197 rushing yards and six touchdowns plus another receiving touchdown. Zach Saldivar led the defense with 11 total tackles.

Next: vs. Valencia at College of the Canyons, Friday, 7 p.m.

10. Birmingham (2-4 overall, 2-0 West Valley League)

The Patriots are rolling in the West Valley League and beat El Camino Real 57-7 in its latest game. Birmingham has now won 44 straight games against City Section opponents.
