Crash involving sheriff’s patrol car in Carson leaves deputy injured

A collision involving a Los Angeles County sheriff’s patrol vehicle and a car in Carson left one deputy hospitalized.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, near the bus stop at Central Avenue and Helmick Street, KTLA 5 reported.

The deputy was responding with no lights and sirens when the vehicle was T-boned on the driver’s side.

The other car’s driver remained at the scene and was uninjured.

The condition of the deputy was unclear.
