Bushfire Kitchen will make its LA County debut in Long Beach

Bushfire Kitchen, a fast casual chain based in Carlsbad, plans to open its first Los Angeles County restaurant this summer in Long Beach.

It will be in Circle Marina Center at 4610 Pacific Coast Highway.

The 2,500 square-foot space will seat 40 customers inside and another 30 diners on a covered, heated patio, according to a news release.

Founded in 2012, Bushfire Kitchen boasts scratch cooking featuring local produce. Its specialties include Chimichurri Grass-fed Tri-Tip and Thai Chicken Curry.

The chain is also known for its sweet and savory empanadas, including a changing empanada of the month. For January, the flavor is guava and cream.

The chain has restaurants in Del Mar, La Costa, Rancho Cucamonga and throughout Riverside county. It made its Orange County debut in Mission Viejo in June.
