Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Angeles wowed the crowd with beautiful music. In English, the group’s name is the Los Angeles Rainbow Mariachi, the world’s first LGBTQ+ mariachi. It was created as a place for mariachi musicians who, according to the group, identify as LGBTQ+ and want to perform traditional Mexican regional music.

Among the activities on Monday night, participants from the San Fernando Valley-based organization 11:11 Projects, designed and created “their own Streetbox ornament inspired by their neighborhoods,” according to the group.
