A suspect was arrested Wednesday in the alleged kidnapping of a woman who was forced into a sedan in Bellflower, authorities said.
Los Angeles resident Ramon Ballesteros was located around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at a motel in the 100 block of West Albertoni Street in Carson, along with the alleged victim, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Ballesteros was booked on suspicion of kidnapping and held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Sheriff’s officials said the woman sustained minor injuries, but it was unclear if she sought treatment.
Deputies responded to the 9800 block of Cedar Street around 4:45 p.m. Sunday, when a woman was allegedly removed from a 2005 Toyota Camry and forced into a 1997 Ford Explorer, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said the vehicle drove away east on Cedar Street.

“The female adult victim observed by witnesses and on video surveillance being assaulted was identified as the suspect’s girlfriend,” sheriff’s officials said in a statement.
