An evil clown turned serial killer from the Terrifier slasher film franchise will terrorize visitors who travel on the Universal Studios tram to check out the Halloween Horror Nights haunted mazes on the movie studio backlot.
Art the Clown will take over the Terror Tram on the Studio Tour during Halloween Horror Nights 2026 that runs on 42 select nights at Universal Studios Hollywood from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1.

The Terrifier film franchise stars Art the Clown as a demonic killer who stalks his victims during Halloween in the fictitious Miles County in Staten Island, New York.
The Terrifier slasher films are known for extreme gore, grisly kills and over-the-top special effects.
A Terrifier haunted maze was part of Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Universal Orlando will feature Art the Clown in a Downtown Clowntown haunted house this year along with Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
The Horror Nights 2026 lineup at Universal Studios Hollywood already includes seven haunted houses based on Stranger Things, Sinners, Evil Dead, Hellraiser, Ozzy Osbourne, Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Dead Deader Deadest.
Other Horror Nights entertainment will include the Fortnitemares scare zone and “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” stunt show in the WaterWorld theater.
Halloween Horror Night tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood start at $77 for general admission with season passes ranging from $179 to $299.
