Legendary rock icons AC/DC are back, announcing their long-awaited return to the U.S. stage with the Power Up North American Tour, their first in nine years.
The 13-date stadium run kicks off on April 10, 2025, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and includes a highly anticipated stop at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl on Friday, April 18, 2025. The tour wraps up on May 28, 2025, at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
Fans in Pasadena and beyond can look forward to a night of rock and roll, as the band performs hits from their storied career alongside tracks from their 2020 album, “Power Up.” The album debuted at No. 1 in 21 countries and has earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance, and Best Music Video for the single “Shot in the Dark.” “Power Up” also landed on Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Albums of 2020 and Consequence of Sound’s Top 50 Albums of 2020, cementing its place as one of the year’s standout releases.
The Rose Bowl, known for hosting some of the most iconic concerts in history, will serve as a fitting backdrop for AC/DC’s return. With Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney, the band promises a night of hits, classics and new material.
