A Studio City home owned by actress Amy Pietz, known for her role in the ’90s series “Caroline in the City,” recently listed for just under $1.8 million.
The 1,740-square-foot, Mediterranean-style house, built in 1941, features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. On the lower part of the house where the garage used to be, there’s a one-bedroom, one-bathroom studio apartment with a kitchenette and a separate entrance.
Records show Pietz bought the property for $1.115 million in July 2006.
Now marketed as “Sunshine Sanctuary,” this woodsy property sits behind gates. Mature trees and lush landscaping surround the nearly quarter-acre lot.
Among the property’s distinct features is a hand-painted Mongolian yurt for “yoga, meditation or overnight stays” as noted in the listing. It has a bathroom with a shower, small sink, toilet and skylight next to it.
The main house has two bedrooms, as well as a flexible third space that can serve as an office, den or additional bedroom. There’s a large kitchen.
Light filters in through French doors and windows in the main living areas.
Outdoor amenities feature a hot tub, a large outdoor dining space, a fire pit and an outdoor projector.
Buyers have the option to adjust their offer to include the furnishings.
Lorena Costino of Compass holds the listing.
