1 dead, 1 injured after shooting at Red West Pizza in Wilmington

Two people were shot, one fatally and one critically injured, when gunfire erupted at Red West Pizza in Wilmington on Saturday evening, May 9, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division.

It happened just before 6 p.m. at the Pacific Coast Highway pizza restaurant, police said. Details on the victims were not available, except the deceased victim was a man in his mid-20s, according to Harbor Division police.


A possible suspect, a man, was in custody on Saturday night, police said.
