Officers found a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound, a San Francisco Police Department spokesperson said in a social media post. The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for the injury, which was not considered life-threatening.
The spokesperson said the shooting occurred near a roadway and not inside an airport building.

Police did not announce any arrests in the shooting.
Shortly before 10 p.m., the airport said in a social media post that operations were returning to normal and airlines had received permission to deplane.
