A woman died in an apartment fire Wednesday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
A 63-year-old woman was found inside an apartment complex in the 4900 block of West Quincy Street, Chicago police said. The fire was reported about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday.
She was taken to Stroger Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.
No other injuries were reported.
