Woman dies after Saturday shooting in east Denver

A woman died Saturday evening after a shooting in east Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.

The shooting happened in the 800 block of South Dexter Street, according to a 5:43 p.m. Denver Police Department post on X.

Police found one victim at the scene, an adult female, who was later pronounced deceased, according a 6:51 p.m. update from the department on X. Her identity has not yet been publicly released.
