Police are looking for a maroon-colored vehicle that left the scene after hitting a 45-year-old pedestrian, critically hurting her Monday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
She was walking north in the 3100 block of West Franklin Boulevard just before 8 p.m. when she was struck by a a maroon-colored vehicle going east, Chicago police said.
She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with head injuries and was listed in critical condition, police said.
The Major Accidents Investigations Unit was looking into the incident.
