Woman, 18, who shot into crowd outside Denver bar sentenced to 7 years

An 18-year-old woman who injured five people after shooting into a crowd outside Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Denver was sentenced to seven years in Colorado’s Youthful Offender System on Wednesday.

Keanna Rosenburgh was 17 years old when she was denied entry into a LoDo bar, pulled out a gun and started shooting into the crowd the night of Sept. 16, 2023, according to Denver police.

Rosenburgh pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree attempted murder and a violent crime sentence enhancer as part of a plea deal in September. Twenty-seven charges were dropped as part of the deal.

Rosenberg was also sentenced to a suspended 21-year sentence in the Colorado Department of Corrections. She will not serve the prison sentence if she completes the Youthful Offender System sentence and meets all the terms, according to previous reporting.

An attorney for Rosenburgh could not immediately be reached for comment Wednesday night.
