Will Bulls’ Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley turn things around? But seriously, folks

So, how about those Bulls?

Anything good happen with them lately?

But we kid. At this point, what else are we going to do?

In this week’s “Polling Place,” your home for Sun-Times sports polls on the social platform X, we served up a trio of Bulls-related questions. The first asked how much faith you have in the executive team of Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley, and take a guess how that went.

“I have no faith they could find the executive restroom with GPS,” @RonaldVoigt4 commented.

And about the NBA’s play-in tournament, which clearly is the highest the Bulls can shoot for: Does it even matter if they end up qualifying?

“Haven’t watched in years,” wrote @mike_w61830, whom we’ll put down as a “no.”

It would be a bad thing to get in, according to @Coach_C_1, because failing to do so would mean a higher draft pick. And @todgmedia wrote “hell to the no,” calling the play-in a “dumb cash grab” by the league.

The third poll was about Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis, who was scheduled to lift off in the dunk contest during the weekend’s NBA All-Star festivities.

On to the polls:

Poll No. 1: How much faith do you have in executives Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley to lead a Bulls turnaround?

Upshot: If the Bulls really do have an executive restroom, Karnisovas and Eversley probably shouldn’t have privileges.

Poll No. 2: Does it even matter if the Bulls make it to the NBA play-in tournament?

Upshot: “Play-in tournament? You’re talking about the play-in tournament!? Are you kidding me?” That was written in Jim Mora’s voice, in case you couldn’t tell.

Poll No. 3: Will you watch Saturday’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest, featuring Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis?

Upshot: Go get ’em, kid. We’ll be cheering you on. Some of us will be. Not that many, apparently.
