What’s next? Winner of Bears-Rams playoff game would visit Seahawks or host 49ers in NFC Championship Game

Following the NFL’s re-seeding after the wild-card round, the playoffs are straightforward from here. The winner of the BearsRams game Sunday will play in the NFC Championship Game on Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m., which will air on Fox. They’ll know who’s waiting for them before they start Sunday.

If the top-seeded Seahawks beat the 49ers on Saturday night, they would host the winner of the Rams-Bears game next. The Seahawks got a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs by going 14-3.

If the sixth-seeded 49ers prevail, they would visit the second-seeded Bears or fifth-seeded Rams.

The Bears lost a thrilling 42-38 shootout to the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium late last month, but have not faced the Rams or Seahawks this season.

The AFC Championship Game will be Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. on CBS. Those spots will be filled by the winners of the Broncos-Bills game Saturday and the Patriots-Texans game Sunday.
