A Sunday morning crash shut down westbound Interstate 70 in Garfield County near Rifle, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
As of 11:30 a.m. Sunday, the westbound interstate was closed between exit 90 for Colorado 13 and exit 87 for Rifle, according to CDOT. The crash happened at mile point 87.
Drivers should expect delays in the area and take alternate routes where possible.
