Two men shot, wounded in Uptown

Two men were injured in a shooting in Uptown on Sunday night, Chicago police said.

A 39-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 4900 block of North Sheridan Road at 6:14 p.m. when three males approached and fired shots, hitting him in the left arm, police said. He was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital in fair condition.

Another man, 30, was sitting in the lobby of a nearby apartment building when he was also hit by gunfire in his left foot, police said. He was taken to Weiss in fair condition.

No one is in custody.
