Two Massive WWE Stars Are Switching Brands

Carrying the massive momentum of WrestleMania 42, WWE resumed its weekly Netflix schedule with an action-packed RAW After WrestleMania.

On Monday, newly-minted heavyweight champion Roman Reigns, a battered Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Bron Breakker, Iyo Sky, Oba Femi and Seth Rollins all made appearances.

While there was plenty of carnage and new rivalries formed throughout the show, the biggest takeaway was the brand switch of WWE superstars Jacob Fatu and Rhea Ripley.

During a segment in which Roman Reigns reunited with Jey and Jimmy Uso, expressing his desire to “run this business for four years straight” again, as they did as a faction in the past, Jacob Fatu interrupted him with desires of his own.

During their back-and-forth exchange, which included Jacob Fatu challenging him at Backlash, Reigns stated that he’ll give Fatu about a week to rethink his challenge and that he’ll see him next week “on Monday Night Raw.”

His phrasing seems especially intentional, considering Jacob Fatu has been brawling the likes of Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton on SmackDown for the last year.

Now, it appears that the Samoan Werewolf is switching over to RAW, where he could challenge the OTC and the revamped Bloodline.

RAW After WrestleMania also revealed that WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley would be switching brands.

While Fatu’s transition was a bit more subliminal, Ripley was much more direct.

“You handle your business, and I’ll go be the champion that SmackDown needs,” Ripley told Iyo Sky backstage, seemingly ending their fruitful tag team partnership.

Ripley has been a RAW superstar for months and is even in the show’s Netflix promotional graphic.

As of this writing, Ripley’s WWE bio has her listed as a RAW superstar.

After her backstage admission, though, it appears that may change soon.

RAW After Netflix Included Major Roster Shake-Ups

Not only are Rhea Ripley and Jacob Fatu on the move, but there were also a few new superstars added to the main roster.

Ethan Page, Joe Hendry and Sol Ruca, who all held gold during their time with NXT, have seemingly been promoted to the RAW roster.

Page heckled Je’Von Evans for failing to capture the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42. During the same backstage segment, he expressed his desire to win the belt himself.

Later that night, the pair of former NXT standouts held a singles match.

Former Women’s NXT North American Champion Sol Ruca also had an impromptu match organized by RAW general manager Adam Pierce.

After interrupting Liv Morgan’s championship celebration, the two were afforded a referee and slated to fight.

Seeing the RAW roster rich with young talent is refreshing. With the recent retirements of wrestling icons John Cena and AJ Styles, there’s room for the legends of tomorrow to etch their names in history.

Oba Femi, who joined RAW in late 2025, announced that “the ruler has arrived” on Monday night. With his arrival could come the next wave of WWE superstars.
