Travis Kelce is giving fans a rare peek into what life looks like at home with fiancée Taylor Swift. During the February 25 episode of his podcast “New Heights,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end casually shared how the couple spent part of their weekend in Manhattan — including waking up early to watch the USA men’s hockey team capture gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Kelce, 36, described tuning in early Sunday morning as the championship game unfolded.
“Me and Tay watched the entire game,” Kelce said on the Wednesday episode. “It was so (expletive) epic. From the first drop of the puck, that game was nonstop action and had me at the edge of my seat at 8:05 in the morning.”
He added, “Man, I loved every minute of it.”

Kelce confirmed he and Swift were watching from New York City. During the game, he said they called his father, Ed Kelce, because it was his birthday.
“We gave him a shout and talked to him a little,” Kelce recalled.
Later in the episode, Kelce referenced the weather outside, revealing he was still on the East Coast.
“They weren’t lying [about this blizzard],” he said. “I’m on the East Coast right now, and it is coming down and I (expletive) love it, man. When you haven’t seen snowfall in awhile and it turns the entire place white and bright, it is just so magical.”
Kelce acknowledged that heavy snow can cause challenges in the city.
“It’s hard to get around if the city isn’t taking care of it,” he said.
His brother and co-host, Jason Kelce, pushed back from Pennsylvania, calling his own snowfall experience a “pain in the ass.”
The Future Hall of Famer Previously Opened Up About Home Life With Taylor Swift
Kelce has shared limited details about life with Swift since the couple confirmed their engagement in August 2025. During a January 28 episode of “New Heights,” he discussed sleep habits while talking about his partnership with Sleep Number.
“I’m a full [sleeper],” Kelce said. “I like the full mattress because I like to roll into it and out of it. And if I’m sitting up, we’re both sitting up.”
Jason described his split-mattress arrangement with his wife, Kylie Kelce.
“It’s really good for getting actual sleep,” Jason explained. “Kylie likes to put her side up… And for me, when I snore, she can just raise my side, and I stop snoring magically.”
Swift has also appeared on “New Heights.” During her August 13 appearance, she shared how she hears Kelce recording from elsewhere in the house.
“I like ‘New News’ just because of the screaming,” Swift said. “I hear him screaming ‘New News!’ from across the house constantly. It’s like my favorite part.”
She added, “He’ll be like, ‘New News! New News!’ And I’m in the kitchen like, ‘New News!’”
Swift also said she has been enjoying a slower pace after wrapping her Eras Tour.
“I was on tour for so long and now I finally am not on tour,” Swift said. “And it’s kind of great because I’m getting my hobbies back.”
Kelce chimed in with a smile, saying, “It’s been so fun to see what Taylor actually gets into around the house.”
