On Tuesday night, the Philadelphia Phillies will open up a series (at home) with the Athletics.
Before the game, the Phillies announced that they had made a trade with the Chicago White Sox.
The Phillies wrote: “Prior to tonight’s game against the Athletics, the Phillies reinstated right-handed pitcher Jhoan Duran from the 15-day injured list. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Trevor Richards was traded to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for cash considerations.”

Richards is in the middle of his ninth MLB season.
In addition to the Phillies, he has also spent time with the Toronto Blue Jays, Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Kansas City Royals and Arizona Diamondbacks.
He is 24-28 with a 4.52 ERA in 297 career games.
