Toronto Raptors Make Brandon Ingram Announcement Before Timberwolves Game

On Thursday evening, the Toronto Raptors will be in Minnesota to play the Timberwolves at the Target Center.

The Raptors are coming off a 111-95 loss to the New York Knicks (at home).

Brandon Ingram finished the loss with 31 points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block while shooting 11/20 from the field and 3/5 from three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.

For Thursday’s game, the Raptors could be without Ingram, as he is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Josh Lewenberg of TSN wrote: “Brandon Ingram is questionable for tomorrow’s game in Minnesota with a left thumb sprain (he hit it late in yesterday’s loss to New York). CMB remains out – also with a left thumb sprain.”

Brandon Ingram’s First Season In Toronto

After getting traded to the Raptors last season, Ingram is in his first year playing for the franchise.

The All-Star forward is currently averaging 22.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range in 59 games.

Before the Raptors, Ingram has also had stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans over ten seasons.

ClutchPoints wrote (on Tuesday): “Brandon Ingram BALLED out in the first half of Raptors-Knicks 🔥 26 points on 9-of-14 FG 2-of-4 3PT 6-of-7 FT 20 minutes”

The Raptors come into play as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-26 record in 61 games.

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games (and are 19-10 in 29 games on the road).
