Tom Brady Gives Rare Mother’s Day Shoutout to Gisele Bündchen, Bridget Moynahan

Tom Brady kept things simple but meaningful on Mother’s Day.

The legendary former New England Patriots quarterback took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to honor both Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan with heartfelt posts celebrating Mother’s Day.

Brady first shared a photo featuring Gisele Bündchen, Bridget Moynahan, and his oldest son Jack while writing, “Happy Mother’s Day” followed by three red heart emojis. He later posted another family photo of Bündchen in bed with their children, adding, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers in this world…” along with more heart emojis.

The posts quickly caught attention online because Brady included tributes to both Bündchen and Moynahan — something fans don’t often see publicly from the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years before finalizing their divorce in 2022. The former couple share two children together: son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.

Before his relationship with Bündchen, Brady dated actress Moynahan for roughly three years after the pair were first linked in 2004. The former couple share son Jack, who was born in 2007.

Over the years, Brady, Bündchen, and Moynahan have publicly spoken about maintaining a positive co-parenting relationship, especially as their children have grown older and spent more time in the public eye.

While Brady tends to keep much of his family life private, Mother’s Day has become one of the few occasions where he occasionally shares more personal moments with fans on social media.

The photos he posted Sunday appeared candid and intimate, showing quieter family moments rather than polished public-facing images.

Brady Has Continued to Prioritize Family Since Retirement

Since officially retiring from the NFL in 2023, Brady has repeatedly emphasized how important family has become during the next phase of his life.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback spent 23 NFL seasons between the Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning seven Super Bowls and becoming widely regarded as the greatest quarterback in league history.

But in recent interviews and social media posts, Brady has frequently discussed being more present for his children and focusing on life away from football.

That shift has included more family-centered content online, including vacation photos, holiday tributes, and milestone celebrations involving his kids.

Sunday’s Mother’s Day posts added another example of that more personal side of Brady — and fans quickly noticed the respectful gesture toward both Bündchen and Moynahan.
