Tiger Woods is now facing a possible ultimatum from girlfriend Vanessa Trump following his car crash and arrest on Friday, raising immediate questions about the future of their relationship, according to a new report published on Saturday.
Trump, a former daughter-in-law of the current U.S. president, met Woods upon his return from a brief stint behind bars with an expletive-laced rant that, according to a Woods-circle insider who spoke to the Daily Mail newspaper, stopped just short of an “ultimatum” about the couple’s relationship. The development raises new questions about Woodsâ private life beyond his new legal troubles, amid reports that Woods may now miss the Masters tournament in Augusta, Georgia, set to open on April 9.
The 50-year-old golf legend had not yet decided whether to enter the prestigious Grand Slam tournament, but his decision may now have been made for him by his arrest after crashing his Range Rover on Friday, near his home on Jupiter Island, Florida.
Woods was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, property damage and refusing to take a mandatory drug test by urinalysis.
What Did Vanessa Trump Say to Tiger Woods After Arrest?
Woods and the former Vanessa Haydon, who was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018, first confirmed their romantic relationship about one year ago. But after Woods’ arrest Friday, they could already be on the rocks.
According to Daily Mail‘s insider source, the 48-year-old Trump greeted Woods after his release from custody on Friday with an angry lecture about his need to change his behavior.
The arrest on suspicion of DUI Friday follows Woodsâ high-profile 2017 DUI case, and the billionaire golf superstar had been cited but not arrested in two earlier incidents.
“She’s not happy at all. She’s both disappointed and a little bit p***ed,” the insider told the Mail. “It’s a definite red flag and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out, and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.”

How Did Woods React to Trump?
Trump’s angry rant did not reach the level of an “ultimatum” at this point, but according to the Mail source, the former model who is mother to five children with Donald Trump Jr., holds that as a strong possibility if Woods is not capable of cleaning up his act.
“This is a concerned girlfriend expressing boundaries and saying that he’s got to get his s*** together, like right now,” the insider told the newspaper.
But Woods was repentant, and receptive to his girlfriend’s criticisms, according to the Mail report.

“He’s very apologetic, from what I’ve heard,” the insider told the Mail, adding that Woods “wants to fix this. He’s embarrassed, he’s mortified at all this.”
Woods’ next court date on the latest charges has not been announced, but is estimated to come on or before April 17, according to an NBC report. But Woods would be exempt from being required to attend that hearing, according to the report.
