Thanksgiving 2024: These restaurants offer take-out turkey feasts

Whether you want a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov. 28 or you want to shake things up a bit, restaurants are ready to supply you with take-out holiday feasts.

Feasts are available to serve small or large groups, some starting below $100.

Veterans Day 2024: Dining freebies and discounts for military

Most feasts include turkey, potatoes, bread and cranberries. Side dishes vary with the restaurant.

Some feasts include dessert such as pumpkin pie, but not all of them.

Advance orders are usually required for this kind of catering

Many are heat-and-serve meals that require unpacking and a little coordination in the kitchen. Customers often have to pick them up at least a day in advance. Other feasts can be picked up or delivered hot.

Here are some holiday feasts offered by chain restaurants on their websites or announced in news releases. Prices may vary by location

Black Angus Steakhouse: To-go turkey dinners are available for four, eight, or 12 people, priced 106.99-$314.99. Dinners must be ordered by  6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. Pickup is before 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 or 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. blackangus.com

  CU Buffs’ Travis Hunter vs. Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan a must-see matchup

Buca di Beppo: This Italian chain sells both heat-and-serve and ready-to-serve take-home feasts with traditional sliced turkey, spicy Italian stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Both are priced between $105 for three people and $250 for 10. Pickup is  10 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 25-28. dineatbuca.com

Claim Jumper Restaurant & Saloon: Three-course carry-out platters feed six to eight people with choice of turkey, ham or both for $145-$155. A la carte sides and desserts are also available. claimjumper.com

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: Heat-and-serve feasts include smoked turkey, Cajun fried turkey, spiral-cut ham and prime rib. They serve eight to 12 people for prices ranging from $77.99 to 149.99. Heated buffets are available for a minimum of 10 people. dickeys.com

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: Thanksgiving turkey bundles are available heat-and-serve or ready to serve. They generally cost $260. The dessert is carrot cake. There are also tenderloin bundles around $420. Entrées and sides are also available à la carte. Bundles are available Nov. 22-27 and Nov. 29-Dec. 1. flemingssteakhouse.com

The Honey Baked Ham Co.: This chain sells feasts with turkey, ham and both for the holiday. Meals serve seven to 19 people with three or four sides. Prices are around $72-$204. Customers who pick up Nov. 24-25 can get $10 off a turkey feast. honeybaked.com

Marie Callender’s Restaurant & Bakery: Heat-and-serve turkey feasts for four to six people cost $164.99 with choice of pumpkin or apple pie. Ham feasts cost $189.99. Feasts for six to eight people cost $189.99-$234.99. A wide range of pies are available for pre-order. Orders will be available to pick up Nov. 25-28. Customers can order takeout on those days, but dining rooms will be closed. Dining in will resume Friday, Nov. 29.  mariecallenders.com

Popeyes: Want a Cajun-style turkey on your table? You can get a frozen bird from this fast food chain for about $59.99. Popeyes has an FAQ page on its website to explain it. Prices and availability vary by location. thecajunfix.popeyes.com

Tender Greens: Holiday feasts serve four to 10 people and are priced $67.95 to $205. The meals are nontraditional with steak and short ribs for protein and sides such as slow-cooked cauliflower, potato gratin and sautéed French green beans. tendergreens.com

Urban Plates: To-go turkey dinners with herb-roasted turkey breast and mushroom stuffing cost $99.95 for four people and $174.95 for six to eight people. Individual turkey plates cost $24.95. Pre-order deadline is Nov. 24, and pickup is Nov. 26-27. urbanplates.com
