Teen killed, another 2 injured in Pullman shooting

A 17-year-old was dead and two other teens were hospitalized after a shooting in Pullman on Sunday afternoon, Chicago police said.

The teens — 18, 17 and 16 — were in a residence in the 13100 block of South Corliss Avenue at 12:10 p.m. when they were shot, police said. The 16-year-old was shot nine times and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later died.

The 17-year-old was shot eight times and was in critical condition, and the 18-year-old was shot once in his right arm and was in good condition, police said. Both were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center.

A person of interest was being interviewed, police said.
