String of stabbings under investigation along Denver’s 16th Street Mall

Denver police are investigating at least three Saturday stabbings that happened along the 16th Street Mall in the city’s Central Business District.

Officers first responded to a stabbing in the 700 block of 16th Street, according to a 5:40 p.m. statement from the police department on Saturday. One victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Less than two hours later, the department said officers were investigating two additional stabbings in the same area that officials believe are related.

No suspects had been identified and the total number of stab victims was not available Sunday morning.
