Moving the on-ramp to Ohio Avenue is expected to ease traffic and enhance safety, Denver transportation officials said in a news release. The new ramp is set to open by the end of the year.
Drivers can now access southbound I-25 from Mississippi Avenue and South Buchtel Boulevard or Alameda Avenue and Kalamath Street.
Construction crews also shifted some southbound Broadway lanes to the west, and a left turn from Broadway onto eastbound Ohio Avenue is now prohibited, according to the city.
