Move over, Taylor Swift. There’s another sing-along movie coming soon to theaters and this one promises to be much raunchier.
The “South Park” team is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film “Bigger, Longer & Uncut” by bringing it back to theaters for two days only, on Sunday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 26. At least 20 theaters across Colorado will screen it at 4 p.m. and/or 7 p.m. those days.
The plot follows animated kids Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman as they sneak into an R-rated movie starring their favorite farting celebrities, Terrence and Phillip. When their parents find out, they declare war on Terrence and Phillip’s home nation of Canada and all hell breaks loose – literally – as the boys figure out how to return Satan to the fiery underworld.
Fans of the 1999 musical comedy – yes, you’re old – will get to sing along to iconic tunes including “Blame Canada,” “Hell Isn’t Good” and “Eyes of a Child.”
Warning: This movie will warp your fragile little minds.

“South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker had another film debut this month. “¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!” is a documentary about the duo’s journey to rescue the titular, Mexico-themed eatertainment venue in Lakewood from bankruptcy. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and has not yet been released publicly; however, Stone and Parker told us they hope to host local screenings in the future.
In 2022, “South Park” celebrated its 25th anniversary since hitting the airwaves with a concert at Red Rocks where Stone and Parker performed many of the show’s beloved tunes with Primus and Ween.
