Sky hire Aces assistant Tyler Marsh as coach

The Sky have their next head coach.

Former Aces assistant Tyler Marsh has agreed to a multi-year contract with the Sky, multiple league sources told the Sun-Times on Saturday.

Marsh joins the Sky after three seasons with the Aces, including back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023. Prior to being hired by the Aces, Marsh was an assistant/player development coach with the Pacers. Before Indiana, Marsh was a player development coach with the Raptors during their championship season in 2019.

Marsh’s lengthy resume also includes three seasons as an assistant coach in the G-league, working for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Bakersfield Jam and the Iowa Energy.

This is a developing story.
