Sharks’ Celebrini could make NHL preseason debut Sunday vs. Vegas

SAN JOSE – Macklin Celebrini could play in his first career NHL preseason game Sunday night when the San Jose Sharks host the Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center.

Celebrini, selected No. 1 overall by the Sharks in the June NHL Draft, has been centering a line with Tyler Toffoli and Klim Kostin on the wings in the first two days of camp.

Celebrini played in one game for the Sharks at the seven-team Rookie Faceoff event in El Segundo earlier this month.
