SANTA CLARA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Thursday night in Santa Clara, according to authorities.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Montague Expressway and Mission College Boulevard just before 6:20 p.m. for a report of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, the Santa Clara Police Department said in an advisory.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Additional details about the crash were not immediately available.
The intersection is currently closed for an investigation. There was no estimated time to reopen the roadway.
