San Jose: Teen stabs another at charter high school, police say

SAN JOSE — A teen boy was taken to the hospital and another was taken into police custody after a fight that ended with a stabbing at an East San Jose campus Thursday morning, police said.

San Jose police said in a social media post that the fight was reported at 8:28 a.m. in the 14000 block of Story Road, which is the location of multiple charter school campuses including two with high school programs.

Bicyclist accused of injuring child in Bay Area hit-and-run

Responding officers found one teen boy of high school age suffering from stabbing injuries; he was taken to a hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.

The similarly aged boy who was accused of stabbing him was arrested, police said.

San Jose police said officers were expected to be on campus “for a significant amount of time investigating the incident,” and asked people and motorists to avoid the area if possible.
