Snow or no snow, the Salmon Unlimited Swap Meet is a go on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 7-11 a.m. at the River Park Moose Lodge in River Grove. It’s one of the hallmarks of the winter outdoors calendar. Yes, there is a stuff for fishing salmon, but there is a lot more than just that.
- The Indianapolis Boat, Sport and Travel Show, a show I really should check out, does it split schedule again this year at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. The first portion opens Friday, Feb. 14, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 16. Second portion is Feb. 19-23. This is a show I really need to see once in my life. It will not be this weekend, I’m pondering the possibility for next weekend.
- The Chicago RV & Camping Show opens today, Feb. 13, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 16, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
- The NWTF Convention & Sport Show, opened yesterday and runs through Sunday at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville. One of these years I should check it out, just to do it once. It will not be this year.
- The Muskie Expo Milwaukee is Friday to Sunday, Feb. 14-16, at the Washington County Fair Park in West Bend, Wis.
- The Hoosier Coho Club’s “Fish Tales and Tackle Sales Swap Meet” is 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the La Porte County Fairgounds Community Room in La Porte, Indiana.
