What are your top three priorities, if elected?
Increasing ridership above pre-COVID levels by 1) greatly improving safety, comfort, order and cleanliness 2) achieving 99%+ reliability to schedule and 3) increasing scheduled frequency to global standards in the parts of the system with density to support it (7 minutes on trains, 10 minutes on buses).

As RTD faces governance reform efforts in the legislature, what changes, if any, would you support in how its all-elected board is selected?
I support changes to the board structure along the lines of what was proposed last year. Appointing board members with relevant experience and doing more to make elected member races competitive would help improve the board’s capacity to hold RTD management accountable.

What specific actions, if any, should RTD take to improve safety and security on its system, and is increased policing part of the solution?
Increased policing is definitely part of the solution. In addition, fare enforcement and increased presence of “ticket takers” on trains and buses would help. Finally, increased ridership itself will increase safety.

Do you support RTD’s ballot measure in this election that would permanently extend its exemptions from revenue limits under the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights?
Yes

The board should always be elected even if the number of directors is reduced.

Situational awareness and preparedness informational advertising.
