The lower parking lots around Red Rocks Amphitheatre with light up this holiday season — and not as part of a tailgate party.
Red Rocks will this year host its first Christmas in Color show, a regional holiday-lights extravaganza that bills itself as “the brightest Christmas show on earth.”
The drive-thru tunnel in the Lower South Parking Lots, which takes about a half-hour to navigate (depending on traffic), features more than 1 million lights synced to holiday tunes that you can play from your car stereo.
And Red Rocks isn’t its only destination.

In addition to the Morrison venue, there are Christmas in Color shows planned for Water World in Federal Heights, and Arvada’s Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, according to the show’s website. Red Rocks is just the latest location for the display, which has been operating in Denver for six years, according to the company.
Tickets for the show, which runs Nov. 29-Jan. 4, 2025, are on sale now for $45, with add-ons available. Visit redrocksonline.com/events/christmas-in-color or christmasincolor.net to buy.
