A shooting involving police officers outside of a Best Buy in Lakewood is under investigation Monday morning, according to the police department.
West Alaska Drive is shut down between South Wadsworth Boulevard and South Vance Street for the shooting investigation, the Lakewood Police Department said in a 5:26 a.m. post on X.
The closed section of the road is just south of West Alameda Avenue and home to both Best Buy and Nordstrom Rack.
No information about what led up to the shooting and who was shot was available Monday morning. The police department said no officers were injured.

Lakewood police officials said there is no estimate of when the road will reopen on Monday.
