Police shoot, kill woman in downtown Denver

Denver police officers shot and killed a woman downtown on Sunday, according to the Denver Police Department.

The shooting happened near the intersection of North Broadway and Lawrence Street, according to a 12:53 p.m. post by the department on X.

The woman who was shot died on-scene, according to the post. Her identity has not yet been publicly released.
