Police seek public’s help in probe of large brawl at California In-N-Out Burger

Police are seeking the public’s help in investigating a large brawl, including the firing of a gun, at an In-N-Out Burger in Murrieta earlier this month.

The fight broke out at the In-N-Out Burger at 39367 Avenida Acacias just after midnight on Saturday, April 5, and involved some 20 to 30 people, the Murrieta Police Department said in an Instagram post.

“Officers located witnesses and multiple involved parties at the scene and learned a firearm had been discharged at some point,” police said.

Despite the large size of the crowd, there were no victims found, according to the post. Nor did police find any property damage.

“At this time, Murrieta PD is seeking additional information from the public regarding the incident that may assist in the investigation,” police said.

The Murrieta Police Department told KTLA they obtained some footage of the incident, but police did not release it.

As of Saturday, it wasn’t known if any suspects were arrested.

Anyone with additional details regarding the incident can contact Detective Leitch at 951-461-6353 or rleitch@murrietaca.gov.
