Police search for crew in North, Northwest side robberies

Police are searching for an armed crew that robbed three businesses this month on the North and Northwest sides.

On Dec. 6, four males robbed three businesses at gunpoint in under two hours, Chicago police said. The robbers entered the businesses and forced the employees to open cash registers before taking off with the money in a gray Kia Sorento.

In one incident, the crew also robbed a customers, and in another, one of the robbers punched an employee in the face, police said.

The businesses were located in the 2600 block of North Lincoln Avenue, the 3000 block of North Pulaski Road and the 3200 block of West Diversey Avenue, police said.

The suspects were seen wearing black ski masks and black clothing.
