Marin County investigators arrested a federal probationer on allegations of methamphetamine sales and gun offenses.
Investigators searched the suspect’s San Rafael home and a storage unit in Richmond and seized 14 firearms, including assault rifles and stolen guns, sheriff’s Deputy Stephanie Ware said.
Detectives also discovered a suspected methamphetamine laboratory along with a pound of methamphetamine, 18 grams of fentanyl and 12 grams of suspected ketamine.
Jesse James Starr, 52, was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of drug and firearms offenses. His bail amount is $1 million.
Starr was placed on probation after serving a 10-year sentence for a drug conviction, Ware said.
