Supporters of former President Donald Trump arrived early to a campaign rally at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024.
The Republican presidential nominee will speak at 1 p.m. to an expected crowd of around 10,000 people on the outskirts of Aurora, making good on an earlier promise to visit the city he has labeled a “war zone” because of problems at apartment complexes that were rumored to be caused by a Venezuelan gang. Protesters also gathered nearby.
