PHOTOS: Netanyahu’s address to Congress sparks march through downtown Denver

A large crowd gathered outside the César E. Chávez Memorial Building before marching through the streets of downtown Denver in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Protesters waved Palestinian flags, carried signs with pro-Palestinian messages and performed pro-Palestinian chants, calling on Colorado U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper, among other national politicians, to cease aid to Israel and condemn Netanyahu for his handling of the war in Gaza.
