Photo of Browns QB Shedeur Sanders and Jerry Jeudy Turns Heads

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy are putting in offseason work together, and the photo is making the rounds on social media.

A photo surfaced this week from T3 Performance showing the Browns’ quarterback and Jeudy training together ahead of the 2026 season. The image is a welcome sight considering the two had some notable tension last season. It included a heated sideline exchange between the two during Sanders’ first home start in Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The relationship between Sanders and Jeudy became a storyline of the Browns’ 5-12 season. Now, heading into a pivotal offseason under new head coach Todd Monken, the two appear to be on the same page and working to build chemistry that didn’t have time to develop during a turbulent campaign.

Shedeur Sanders, Jerry Jeudy Had Sideline Spat

Late during a 26-8 loss to the 49ers on Nov. 30, cameras caught Jeudy clapping his hands and animatedly confronting Sanders while the rookie was reviewing plays on the sideline tablet. Sanders stood up and pushed back, shaking his head in disagreement.

The exchange went viral, drawing criticism of Jeudy from many who felt the veteran was showing up a rookie quarterback. Jeudy, coming off a Pro Bowl season in 2024 in which he posted career-best marks of 90 receptions and 1,229 receiving yards, was in the midst of a frustrating campaign, finishing with just 50 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns.

“We resolved that. We’re not going to speak on that,” Sanders told reporters after the incident.

Jeudy acknowledged he could have handled the situation differently.

“Probably talk to him off camera, that’s probably what I would have done differently,” Jeudy said. “I’m going to speak my mind and say what I see out there, but it is what it is. It’s football. Me and Shedeur good. Stuff like that happens.”

The two showed some signs of progress as the season went on. In Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans, Sanders hit Jeudy for a 60-yard touchdown. It was a highlight during Sanders’ breakout 364-yard, four-touchdown performance.

Sanders finished his rookie year with 1,400 passing yards, 7 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 8 games.

Browns Planning to Add Weapons

While the photo signals good things for the Sanders-Jeudy connection, general manager Andrew Berry made it clear at the combine that the Browns are looking to bolster the wide receiver room through multiple avenues.

“I think we can add all across the offense to be honest,” Berry said at the combine. “We’re really pleased with some of the younger players we have. Jerry is gonna be a big part of it, and we’re pleased with Isaiah’s rookie year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t add to the arsenal.”

Berry noted that the team views pass-catching talent holistically rather than focusing solely on the wide receiver position.

“We probably look at it more like global weapons and global pass catchers and Harold [Fannin Jr.] would be a part of that, obviously,” Berry said. “(Quinshon Judkins) is a weapon for us. You want to look at it as the overall infrastructure as opposed to one position.”

The draft is where the Browns could make a significant splash at the position. Cleveland holds 10 picks, including the No. 6 overall selection and a late first-rounder acquired in the Travis Hunter trade with Jacksonville. The Browns have already hosted Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson on a pre-draft visit and as well as Ohio State’s Carnell Tate.
