Person pulled from Roseland fire died of gunshot wounds, autopsy reveals

A person pulled from a fire early Sunday morning in Roseland died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide, officials said.

Firefighters and police officers were called to the home in the 300 block of West 110th Place about 12:05 a.m. and found a body inside, police said.

The male victim was dead on the scene, and an autopsy Monday determined he died of multiple gunshot wounds during a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No one was arrested. Area 2 detectives are investigating.
