Northbound I-25 reopens in Denver after crash

The pedestrian, who police have not identified, died at the scene of the crash and the motorist is cooperating with officers, according to a 3:20 a.m. post on X from the Denver Police Department.

Information about what caused the crash and what vehicle the other motorist was driving was not available Tuesday morning.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, southbound I-225 closed between Exit 1B for Yosemite Street and Exit 1A for Denver Tech Center Boulevard around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The interstate fully reopened to traffic at 5:47 a.m., CDOT officials said.
