Packers Hire New Special Teams Coordinator to Replace Rich Bisaccia: Report

The Green Bay Packers have found their Rich Bisaccia replacement.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Friday afternoon the Packers plan to hire Cam Achord as their next special teams coordinator.

“Achord, 39, won Super Bowl LIII with the Patriots and most recently was the Giants‘ assistant special teams coach,” wrote Pelissero on X. “Now, he replaced Rich Bisaccia in Green Bay.”

This will be Achord’s first opportunity to be in charge of a special teams unit since the New England Patriots. He served as the Patriots special teams coordinator from 2020-23.

The past two seasons, he was the New York Giants assistant special teams coach. He held that role with the Patriots as well from 2018-19. New England won the Super Bowl during the 2018 campaign.
