A person was wounded in a shooting at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb early Sunday morning, university police said.
The shooting occurred in a parking lot on the west side of campus and left one person hospitalized with “non-life-threatening” injuries, police said. No other details about the shooting or the victim’s condition were released.
